The General Directorate of Traffic has announced the launch of the fourth auction for fancy vehicle number plates through the Metrash2 application.
Bidding will start at 12 noon Tuesday and conclude at 10pm on September 22.
Participants have to make a security deposit of QR20,000 and bidding will start at QR100,000.
Successful bidders will have to go to the Traffic Department within two working days of the auction's conclusion to pay the amount.
If a buyer fails to abide by the rules, the security deposit will be registered as a debt due to him. It can be adjusted whenever the person conducts any transaction at the department.
