The Qatar Stars League has formally announced an agreement with the Foundation of Qatar Sport Arbitration (FQSA), ahead of the new 2016/2017 QSL season. The deal was signed on the sidelines of the 2016/2017 QSL league launch ceremony held at the Sheraton.
Mr Ibrahim al-Mohannadi chairman of the FQSA and deputy chairman Salman al-Ansari where present at the press conference to outline the aims of the newly formed organisation.
“Our primary goal is to resolve any disputes between players, clubs and the league in any issues.” revealed al-Mohannadi.
The arbitration body will be able to rule on any football specific issue arising in Qatar. “This organisation has strong links with both the QSL and QFA and the decision made by our organisation relating to a specific case will be final,” said al-Ansari.
