The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has issued 31 decisions for the maintenance and demolition of old buildings in the last three months.
These include 23 decisions for demolition and eight for maintenance of different buildings, according to a statement from the MME.
Twelve decisions have been issued so far this month, while 10 were issued in July and nine in June.
The decisions were issued by the building demolition and maintenance committee at the ministry.
The committee is a permanent entity established in line with Ministerial Decision No 88 for 2006, which pertains to Law no 29 for 2006.
The panel started operating on June 19, 2006, and has issued 296 related decisions until now. These include 232 decisions for demolition and 64 for maintenance of buildings.
