Babyshop has unveiled its 2016 “Back to School” collection ahead of the new academic year.
The range is inspired by fun colours, designs, patterns, styles and classic essentials that pre-schoolers, primary and teenage students can choose from. It also features a wide range of licensed character merchandise, with a huge selection for both boys and girls, the retailer has said in a press statement.
Babyshop’s top trends for “Back to School” include boys’ character merchandise, girls’ character merchandise, pre-school and teen range, trolley bags and backpacks, sports collection, water bottles, value pack sets, lunch carry bags & lunch boxes, and stationery & cases.
“Babyshop, the one-stop kids’ retailer, gives shoppers the opportunity to make  easy and convenient back-to-school purchases with the top brands and latest trends this year,” the company said.
As part of its brand campaign of “Make your own rules”, Babyshop has invited consumers via Facebook to share images and videos of the one chore that they would like their little children to perform in return for a possible reward, thereby encouraging kids to perform a task in return for their favourite “Back to School” products, the statement notes.
The campaign runs until August 10 and will give three students an opportunity to walk away with “Back to School” products from Babyshop.
