HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to President of Benin Patrice Talon on the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day.
HH the Emir, HH the Deputy Emir and HE the Prime Minister have also sent cables of congratulations to Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann on his country’s National Day.
Minister holds
talks in Oman
HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi met the Omani Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing Saif bin Amir al-Shaqsi and the Chairman of Muscat Municipality, Mohsen bin Mohamed al-Sheikh, during his current visit to the Sultanate.
Talks during the meetings dealt with enhancing co-operation between Qatar and Oman in the area of municipal affairs. HE al-Rumaihi began his visit to Oman on Sunday. He also met the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources for Regional Municipalities Affairs, Hamad bin Sulaiman al-Gharibi.
The Minister also visited Muscat’s Qurum Natural Park and the Qurum Nature Reserve. The meetings were attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Oman, Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri.
