Al Daayen Municipality conducted 11,652 inspections at food outlets over the last six months, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) said Monday.
In a tweet, the MME noted that five shops were closed during this period while violations were registered against 111 outlets for flouting regulations.
Besides, warnings were issued to 325 shops by the authorities concerned.
