HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa al-Thani’s filly Desert Haze won the Smarter Bets With Matchbook Betting Exchange Fillies’ Stakes, the final race on Day One of the Qatar Goodwood Festival. Trained by Ralph Beckett, Desert Haze has already secured two successes this year.
Ridden by Oisin Murphy, Desert Haze, who appreciates good ground, was an easy winner in front of Haggle and Home Cummins. Yesterday, she confirmed her good form, which she showed in her last run at Ascot. She should earn her black type during the season.
