A Doha Criminal Court has been reviewing the case of four Pakistani men accused of stealing QR1.2mn from a local exchange company, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported on Monday.

The defendants are accused of conspiring and executing a road accident involving a vehicle of the exchange company to steal the money.
According to the file of the case, they crashed their car into the vehicle of the exchange in the Industrial Area and forced the company's employee who was driving to stop it.
They then grabbed a bag containing QR1.2mn and fled.
Investigations revealed that the car used by the defendants in the crime carried number plates stolen from another vehicle, which had been reported earlier.
The car used by the defendants was traced by reviewing the recordings of the street surveillance cameras of the area where the crime took place and the road leading to and out of it.
The car was abandoned without the number plates with a clear indication of a heavy crash.
The owner of the car was located with the help of the chassis number.
One of the defendants, who turned out to be the owner of the car, was arrested while trying to leave Qatar through the airport with a bag containing QR440,900.
Upon interrogation, he led the police to the other three accomplices, who confessed to their involvement in the crime.
The case is still being heard by the court.
