Qatar’s weightlifter Faris Ibrahim confidently booked a place in the 2016 Olympic Games to be held from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ibrahim picked up two bronze medals at the IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Qatar Weightlifting Federation executive director Zaid al-Khiyareen praised Ibrahim’s achievement.
