Ooredoo has announced that its mobile broadband trade-in offer is back, enabling more customers to trade in their old 2G/3G My-Fi devices for a new 4G My-Fi device.
With the offer, customers who trade in their old My-Fi device will receive up to a QR200 discount on a new “superfast” 4G device, the company has said in a statement.
Users can visit their nearest Ooredoo shop before September 23 and hand over their old 2G/3G mobile broadband device to get a NetGear Aircard My-Fi Hot Spot AC790s for QR799  (normal price QR999).
“A new 4G My-Fi device will cost users just QR799 with the promotion, and will work with Ooredoo’s 4G and 4G+ Supernet network, offering speeds of up to double the average 3G network. Ooredoo’s Supernet delivers incredible performance, enabling customers to enjoy the smoothest browsing, streaming, downloading and uploading in Qatar,” the statement noted.
With the Ooredoo 4G My-Fi device, customers can “enjoy a high-speed surfing experience” for up to 10 devices. The My-Fi device also offers enhanced indoor and outdoor coverage, allowing customers to connect to a stronger 4G network signal, the statement added.
Ooredoo said it is encouraging customers to recycle their mobile broadband devices as it continues to address environmental issues “as part of its dedication to Qatar National Vision 2030.”
