Qatar Chamber yesterday said 80% of the area of the fifth edition of ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition, due to be held for the first time outside Qatar in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh on November 6-9 this year has already been booked, noting the progress of the ongoing preparations.
Qatar Chamber Director General Saleh Hamad al-Sharqi said in a press statement that the exhibition, which will be held on a total area of 10,000 square metres, brings together a number of leading Qatari companies and factories. Their numbers are expected to double compared with the event’s previous editions, which saw the participation of more than 220 firms and factories.
A number of leading Qatari companies along with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and household producers will take part in this year’s event so as to introduce different Qatari industries to the Saudi business community, Al Sharqi said.
The choice of Saudi Arabia to host the exhibition’s first launch abroad comes in recognition of its leading economic experience.
