Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported that the court also ordered their deportation after serving their sentence. The duos were arrested by the police while trying to steal the cables that belonged to a company in Doha.
According to the court statement the two went one night to the storehouse of the company and tried to cut some cables and carry them away in a pickup owned by their sponsor. However, they were arrested in the process.
