During the visit, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was explained on the project achievements by Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) officials. The project comes in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and reflects the State of Qatar's concern about major infrastructure projects.

Sheikh Abdullah praised the work accomplished so far on the Doha Metro project, stressing the need to exert all efforts to finish it on time.
He commended the efforts being exerted by Qatar Rail, including the company's leadership and all the employees, who are sparing no effort in implementing one of the largest infrastructure projects in Qatar.
