Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) have applied to host the World Snooker Championship, for the first time in the country’s history.
QBSF secretary general Mohamed Salem al-Nuaimi said that they proposed holding the championships from November 20-30 in Doha.
He added that Doha will host the general assembly of the International Billiard and Snooker Federation and the election of a new board. This will take place during the championship and will lead to a strong attendance levels.
