Qatar University (QU) yesterday announced the winners of the Student Life Awards 2015/2016.
Leadership Awards were presented to law student Ahmad Nooh al-Thani and arts and sciences student Ebrahim Ali al-Kuwari and arts and sciences student Shouq Abdullah Shaheen.
Arts and sciences students Mohamed Hakim Shalal, Omer Ahmad al-Jumaily, and Hamda Abdulamir al-Khamis picked up awards for Student Clubs and Organisations.
Engineering and arts and sciences students Sara Tariq Abdurhman and Sara Wali Mohamed received the Volunteering Award while the Student Athletic Award was presented to engineering student Khaled Ibrahim Shamiyeh and arts and sciences student Dana Yahya al-Madhoun.
Student Employment Awards were presented to business and economics student Khalid Mohamed Alshibli and Sarah Ahmad Salmeh.
QU associate vice president for student affairs Abdulla al-Yafei congratulated the winners, their commitment to excellence and considerable talents that have led to the awards.
