Commercial Bank holds blood donation campaign with HMC

Commercial Bank recently organised a one-day blood donation drive for its employees in co-operation with the blood donation centre at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
During the drive, the bank’s employees across all departments volunteered to be blood donors at a mobile blood donation centre in Commercial Bank Plaza.
Managed by HMC’s Blood Donation Unit, the staff members were carefully pre-screened to meet strict criteria in accordance with international blood donating standards and monitored afterwards to ensure their safety. The Commercial Bank employees were also provided with educational brochures and leaflets about the importance of donating blood and its critical role in saving lives.

This blood donation campaign will make a real difference to our community by helping maintain an adequate blood supply for the country and by encouraging others to give the life-saving gift of blood.
