Strong winds are expected across the country on Sunday along with poor visibility due to blowing dust, the Qatar Met department has said.
Offshore areas, too, are likely to see strong winds along with high seas, according to the weather report.
Visibility may drop to 2km or less in some places at times.
Strong northerly winds were experienced in different parts of the country, with the wind speed reaching 30 knots, along with low visibility in some areas due to blowing dust, the weather office said in a tweet.
The Met department, in co-ordination with the Ministry of Public Health, had earlier issued an advisory on how to stay safe in view of the dusty and windy conditions.
The forecast for inshore areas today says it will be hot during the day with slight to blowing dust at times. The wind speed may go up to 35 knots in some places during the day.
