The 80,000sq-ft LuLu Department Store at the Barwa City, Mesaimeer, was opened yesterday in the presence of a big gathering.
Prominent non-resident Indian businessman and LuLu Group International chairman and managing director Yusuffali MA and prominent Qatari citizen Sheikh Hassan bin Khalid al-Thani were among the dignitaries present.
It is expected that the new department store would cater to the shopping requirements of large populations of Barwa City, Abu Hamour, Mesaimeer, Wukair, Wakrah and Industrial Area and other places in the neighbourhood.
The shopping centre has an extended range of garments, footwear, household products and electronics and mobiles from all the latest brands.
The whole department store has been segmented into three special zones, namely LuLu Fashion Store, LuLu Connect and LuLu Celebrate. There is also a children’s amusement area spread over 10,000sq-ft, including Soft Play zone, Bumper Cars, World Trip, Mini Top Spin, Video Games, Redemption Games, Novelty & Kiddie Rides.
LuLu is offering 10% special discount to the Lulu – Doha Bank card holders and also has worked out many attractive offers and promotions like “Half Pay Back” on latest fashion garments and footwear. Other features include special shop-in-shop for watches, perfumes, mobiles and others facilities such as ATMs, and LuLu Exchange.
