Qatar men’s national volleyball team will start their preparations ahead of the 27th edition of FIVB Volleyball World League in 2016, the biggest ever in the history of the tournament, on Thursday.
The Intercontinental Round will begin on June 17 and will culminate with the World League Finals on July 17.
Qatar will take part in the third round along with Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Spain, Chinese Taipei, Greece, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
Qatar team’s participation comes following recent positive results in the 2015 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship by finishing in fourth place. The team is currently ranked 53rd in the world.
