Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) will take part in Qatar International Medical Congress 2016 (QIMC), which will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention
Centre from May 18 to 20.
The event will feature lectures on ways to prevent cancer and factors that increase the likelihood of its occurrence. QCS will also have an awareness pavilion at the exhibition alongside the conference.
The participation comes within the framework of the society’s efforts at promoting health awareness and education on cancer, its responsibility towards having a society that enjoys health and wellness in line with Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030. The exhibition will also focus on the expert opinions of people in this field.
Mariam al-Naemi, general manager of QCS, described the conference as an opportunity to strengthen the Society’s role in the creation of a healthy society in line with QNV 2030, which has made the health sector a key partner in all fields.
One of the QCS’ activities is spreading awareness on cancer.
