Mowasalat is transporting more than 56,000 children of 246 schools on a regular basis, a senior official told an education conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
The company is deploying 2,214 buses (including spare buses) for the transportation of the school children and 4,044 trips are conducted daily.
The company has a long time agreement with the Ministry of Education for the transportation of the country’s school children, said Mowasalat managing director Khalid al-Hail.
“Mowasalat is growing in strength and confidence to emerge as a first choice provider of innovative transport solutions and services, adopting to safety standards with latest technology and industry’s best practices and contribute to the legacy of Qatar and the region” he explained.
Mowasalat, the official transport provider of the event, had stand in the exhibition area, educating the audience and participants on the company’s goals and objectives, especially its initiatives to provide a trouble-free transportation to the customers.
Earlier the conference was opened by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi.

Mowasalat is also preparing for participation in the “National Traffic Safety Committee Workshop and Exhibition” which will open today.
At the workshop Karwa’s Taxi Management Office manager Ali Hassan al-Emadi will present the company’s prospects and future growth plans.
Robert Makondo, manager of Karwa Driving School, will highlight the goals and objectives of the school.
