Strong winds are expected in parts of the country by Monday afternoon along with light rain, the Qatar Met department has said.
The wind speed may go up to 25 knots in some places, according to the weather report.
The Met department said in a tweet on Sunday that "cloud cover was expected to increase gradually between Monday noon and Wednesday with chances of scattered light rain".
For inshore areas, partly cloudy conditions are likely along with a chance of light to scattered rain in some places as well as slight to blowing dust by the afternoon.
Offshore areas, meanwhile, will see slightly dusty conditions along with some clouds. There is also a chance of scattered light rain at times.
A maximum temperature of 40C is expected in Doha, Messaied, Wakrah and Abu Samra on Monday, followed by 39C in Al Khor, 35C in Dukhan and 33C in Ruwais.
The weather office said a maximum temperature of 41C was recorded on Sunday in Al Batna, Al Ghuwairiya and Turayna. In Doha, it was 39C.
