Vodafone Qatar has unveiled its new Connect Plans, which the company says “combines telecom innovation with experiences customers will love”.
Vodafone Connect comes with four postpaid plans with a set number of “Flex” that customers can use the way they want: Connect 60, 100, 150 and 200. There are no more set voice or data allowances.
Connect Plan customers can carry forward their unused “Flex” to the following month. Calls to family members are free within a Connect account.
Through its partnership with Urban Point, Vodafone Connect is also offering hundreds of discounts and “buy-one get-free” offers every month at restaurants, spas, beauty centres and fun attractions in Qatar. Vodafone Connect customers also get to enjoy, exclusively, a one-month free trial of the app; then, for every month they pay QR10 and enjoy a month free - this is a 75% saving on the normal price of QR19 per month. Customers will also be able to pay the app’s subscription fees through their Vodafone line with no need to add credit card information.
Vodafone has said it will host several Bollywood movie premieres and many other movie classics throughout the year, especially allowing Vodafone’s Indian customers to stay close to the movies they love from home.
To enable customers to stay close to their children and get them started safely with smartphones, Vodafone Connect introduces the MONQI child’s smartphone for QR299. This “out-of-the box” smartphone solution for busy and involved parents allows the setting of child’s phone usage limits, geo-location, application access management, monitoring of all activities and management and approval of contacts.
Available on both iOS and Android, the My Vodafone App will enable customers to track their Vodafone Connect balance. To download the app, Vodafone Qatar customers can visit www.vodafone.qa/App. Vodafone Qatar COO Mohamed al-Sadah and head of postpaid Mohamed Mursi spoke at the event.
