Al Sadd emerged as the Qatar national futsal champion for the fifth time after they beat Al Rayyan in the season’s final clash 5-2. In the final league match, the first half finished at one-all, and even the second half wasn’t enough to decide on the winner with the two teams finishing at 2-2.
The deadlock broke in the second half of the extra time with Al Sadd scoring three consecutive goals to seal their historic win.
The win gave Al Sadd their third title victory of the season.
Al Khor finished third and picked up the bronze medal.
