A delegation of 35 hotels, tour operators and other industry service providers from Qatar will participate at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) taking place in Dubai from today.
Led by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), the number represents a 25% increase in Qatar’s participants compared to last year.
ATM, renowned as the leading event for the Middle East inbound and outbound travel industry, provides a platform for Qatar to demonstrate its willingness and ability to offer innovative products for the regional market.
Qatar’s stand at the four-day event will be showcasing its unique tourism offerings, including top quality luxury accommodation, cultural attractions, family entertainment, festivals and events, as well as great shopping, dining and other leisure activities.
“This sizeable delegation reflects the importance Qatar places on tourism arrivals from the Middle Eastern market, and in particular the GCC,” said QTA’s chief marketing and promotion officer Rashed al-Qurese.
“ATM attracts a significant number of international travel trade visitors and we will leverage this event to emphasise our focus on unmatched cultural attractions, authenticity and other attributes with appeal to global visitors,” he added.
A number of prominent local and regional hotel groups, leading international hospitality operators and brands will be exhibiting at the QTA stand. They will provide a cross-sectional view of Qatar’s broad hospitality offerings while highlighting the five-star, four-star and boutique hotel options, as well as hotel apartments.
“Our co-exhibitors will provide visitors with exceptional insights into the evolution of Qatar’s tourist attractions and services. This effectively delivers a ‘one-stop shop’ for doing business with the Qatar tourism sector,” al-Qurese said.
The annual event showcases more than 2,800 products and destinations from around the world to over 26,000 buyers and travel trade visitors.
