A number of high-profile speakers will share their insights and personal experiences at the Launch Conference, which is to be held from April 26 to 28 at Grand Hyatt Doha.
The third Launch Conference will centre on the theme, “Change and Innovation”, as Launch delegates will be “inspired by the crossroads that create change as well as the endless possibilities to create and sustain innovation and change within their organisations”, according to a statement.
Launch is a series of learning events for Qatari nationals, which focuses on developing the country’s future and existing leaders.
The speakers for Launch include Dr Mohamed al-Ghanim al-Maadheed, chairman of Naufar, who will be joined by Dr Kholode al-Obaidli, former vice-president of
nationalisation at Qatar Airways.
Also speaking at the Launch Conference will be Sharoq al-Malki of Commercial Bank, Jeffrey Asselstine, managing director at Nelsonpark Property, Mohamed al-Hayder of Takallam, Dr Roger Vreugdenhill of MWH Global, Hilary Rowe of RasGas, Layla Saad, women’s leadership and business coach, and Elizabeth Fleming, founder and CEO of Launch.
Dr al-Obaidli said, “It is my hope that we can engage in stimulating discussions on the merits of change and those attendant innovations that
impact Qatar’s society.”
Dr al-Maadheed shared his insight ahead of the conference, saying: “The only change that matters is that within and motivation must be based on knowledge. Then, you can dream how to lead globally.”
During the conference, all delegates will have the opportunity to explore elements of change management practices, gain insights into innovation tools and techniques as well as explore critical-thinking skills to develop innovation in the workplace.
Further, delegates will develop a deeper understanding of both personal and professional change techniques and effectively embed change within groups and teams.
Fleming added, “We are very fortunate to bring to our delegates such an outstanding calibre of speakers, most of whom are Qatari nationals, who have all achieved success in their respective fields.”
