HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani arrived in Riyadh yesterday to participate, along with the other leaders of the GCC countries, in a summit with US President Barack Obama today.
The Emir and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Riyadh Air Base Airport by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and  Interior Minister  Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz al-Saud,  Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz al-Saud,  Qatar ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer al-Thani, senior civilian and military officials in Saudi Arabia and staff of the Qatari embassy were also present at the airport to welcome the Emir.
Yesterday evening, the Emir  attended a GCC-Morocco summit  at Al-Dir’yah Palace in Riyadh.  Moroccan King Mohamed VI and  GCC leaders took part.
