The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) will organise a seminar on procedures and regulations of Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) at the QOA headquarters in Doha on May 10.
Senior experts from CAS, including CAS secretary general Matthieu Reeb, CAS Tribunal member Dr Abdullah al-Hayyan, experienced lawyer Jan Kleiner and Michele Bernasconi, from Bar & Karrer Law Firm, will focus on vital topics related to the CAS.
Saif al-Naimi, the QOA Executive Director, said that the seminar will highlight the procedures and regulations applied in CAS whose main objective is resolving sport disputes between individuals and organisations.
The CAS is an international quasi-judicial body established to settle disputes related to sport through arbitration.
