Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported that the Drug Prevention Department of the Ministry of Interior received a tip from a secret source that the man had in his possession marijuana to sell to others.
An undercover source approached the defendant to buy marijuana for QR1,100 and they agreed to meet at Muaither area.
When they met for the transaction, police patrol swooped on them and arrested the man as he was selling marijuana and receiving money.
Upon searching the vehicle of the defendant, 46gm of marijuana was found hidden. During the interrogation, he confessed to the charges.
