The all-new 2016 Honda Civic, pictured, is the new North American Car of the Year, Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), the authorised distributor in Qatar for Honda announced yesterday.
This win for the Civic is the second for the model in the history of this prestigious award that enjoys a wide recognition in the automotive industry.
Faisal Sharif, managing director at Domasco, recalled that Civic is one of Honda’s best-selling models since its introduction in 1972.
“Civic has always been a very successful model in Qatar and we are eagerly looking forward to the launch of the all-new Civic in Qatar soon,” he stated.
“We are encouraged by the recognition of the all-new 10th generation Civic as Car of the Year in the world’s biggest car market,” observed Greig Roffey, head of sales and
marketing at Domasco Honda.
The North American Car of the Year award is voted by 53 automotive journalists from Canada and the US. The annual award is in its 23rd year.
