The Qatar Boxing Federation has entered a six-member team to take part in the 3rd GCC Boxing Championship, which begins in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today. The five-day event concludes on April 20. Hassan al-Mohannadi is heading the Qatari contingent, which is also accompanied by national boxing coach Juanito Carlos Basnueva. Two boxers, Jamal Mubarek and Mohamed Gamber are representing the national team for the first time. The other boxers are Hozam Nabaa, Hakan Erseker, Telasi and the veteran 34-year-old Abdul Lateef. The team left for Riyadh yesterday.
