HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met Senator John McCain, Chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, and a number of US senators in Washington. They discussed issues of mutual concern and ways of promoting relations between Qatar and the United States. HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani also met the US National Security Adviser Susan Rice in Washington. Talks during the meeting covered the latest developments in the region, mainly the situation in Syria, Libya and Yemen, and other issues of mutual concern.
