Qatar based Jeemtv, part of Bein Network, and Netherlands based European & Global Licensing have announced an extensive partnership for co-creation of the Monskey brand and children’s animation series.
A total of 52, 3d animation episodes will be produced before 2017 first quarter. Main target group is children in the age group of five to 12.
Monskey is a brand based on a designer toy figurine. The entertainment brand and animation series have been successfully introduced on Dutch television since 2014.
The Monskey animation series incorporates 24 of the leading characters from the Series 1 toy collection and will take the viewer into an engaging storyline in which humour and morals will teach children about friendship, solutions and the joy of creativity.
Al Jazeera Children’s channel acting executive general manager and channels director Saad al-hudaifi said: “Monskey are extreme likable and we love the special designs. We believe the characters can be close to heart of kids and families. We love to invest in this property”.
