Qatar Charity and the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) yesterday signed a co-operation and financing agreement for a number of projects being implemented by JOHUD in different regions of Jordan.
The agreement was signed by Qatar Charity CEO, Yusuf bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, and JOHUD Executive Director Farah Daghestani in the presence of Princess Basma bint Talal and Qatar’s ambassador to Jordan Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah.
Before signing the agreement, Princess Basma bint Talal hailed Qatar’s humanitarian work in the Arab and Muslim world, adding Qatar Charity’s work is worthy of emulation.
The agreement seeks to fund a number of projects aimed at reducing poverty, programmes and projects in the areas of Al Qadisiyah in Tafilah governorate in southern Jordan and Al Mushreefa in Khalidiya district of the Governorate of Mafraq, northeast of the kingdom.
The agreement is also aims at supporting programmes and activities carried out by Qatar Charity and implemented by JOHUD’s campaign.
