Ooredoo has announced a multi-channel deal with Rotana Media Group, a leading producer of Arabic music and films.
The agreement will see Ooredoo tv include eight new Rotana HD channels as part of its basic package, giving viewers a boost of Arabic content such as television series, lifestyle programming, movie channels, music videos and more, the company has said in a statement.
As well as the eight new channels, Ooredoo will have exclusive rights for three new Rotana channels in Qatar, providing its customers with access to a huge library of Arabic movies in high definition.
New channels include Rotana Cinema HD, Rotana Khalijiyah HD, Rotana Aflam HD, Rotana Classic HD, Rotana Masriya HD, Rotana Music HD, LBC Sat HD, M+ HD, Rotana Aflam + HD, Rotana+ HD and Al Resalah HD.
“The agreement, which will further strengthen Ooredoo’s partnership with Rotana Media Group, one of the biggest producers of Arabic blockbusters in the Middle East, aims to ensure that Ooredoo tv customers have access to the latest Arabic content,” the statement notes.
Mozaic TV and Ooredoo Broadband customers can access the channels for free by using Ooredoo tv’s “Collect & Go” service, meaning they can visit any Ooredoo shop and collect the new Ooredoo tv box to take home. Installation is simple and can be done instantly by customers in their homes.
Ooredoo tv is available now via Ooredoo shops, Starlink, TechnoBlue and Jumbo outlets. The service has no upfront charges, no equipment costs and no ongoing contracts.
