The first phase starts on Thursday after midnight and will last until Saturday 5am. The remaining seven phases will be carried out during the following seven weekends, each lasting from Thursday midnight to Saturday 5 am. It is anticipated that the last phase will be completed by May 21.
During each phase, only a part of the junction will be closed and signage installed to indicate the closed and the open parts of the road as shown in the map. The exception will be the last phase, which will require the full closure of the junction for two days.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion. The authority has requested all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
