Ooredoo has announced a new partnership with Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) for its Nojoom rewards programme.
With this partnership, the Nojoom programme adds another bank to its list of activities in the financial service sector, as Al Khaliji plans to launch “Darbi”, its biggest campaign yet targeting Qatari youth who are newly employed.
Through its partnership with the programme, Al Khalij aims to encourage and attract Qatari youth to transfer their salaries to the bank and “enjoy world-class premium banking benefits and privileges right from the very beginning of their careers”, according to a statement.
Qatari youth who open a salary account with the bank will receive 50,000 Nojoom points and the first 50 such customers will be additionally rewarded with another 50,000 bonus Nojoom points, in addition to a reducing interest rate of 3.99% (2.14% flat rate) on personal and auto loans.
Also, Qatari youth will benefit from a car loan of up to QR250,000 without a guarantor and without the need for any down-payment. Besides this, they will have free and unlimited access to more than 500 VIP airport lounges around the world and more.
To celebrate the new partnership, Ooredoo will offer an “easy-to-remember” mobile number, valued at QR1,000, and two 3GB mobile data cards, in addition to an Ooredoo Passport card.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director, community and public relations at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “As we continuously work to provide best offers for our Nojoom members across different customer segments, we believe that our new offering with Al Khaliji is ideal for the young Qataris who have just been employed, as it fulfils both their financial and non-financial needs.”
Rana al-Asaad, head, personal banking at Al Khaliji, noted: “This exclusive promotion for Qataris is part of Al Khaliji’s vision to keep providing world-class banking benefits and privileges to the local community they serve. This partnership with Ooredoo’s Nojoom rewards programme is another step in that direction.”
Every Ooredoo customer with a Qatar ID can enrol into Nojoom for free and start earning points every time they buy products and services from Ooredoo or any of the Nojoom partners.
