Maserati Qatar has hosted a special event in which Maserati Master Pilota drivers took clients on drives on the streets of The Pearl, Qatar.
The Maserati Master Pilota drivers belong to a class of professionally trained experts from Maserati’s home of Modena, Italy.
The drives they offer are highly coveted due to their expertise in showcasing the minutest of details, while also providing comprehensive knowledge on the vehicle dynamics to participants.
The event was a first of its kind for Maserati in Qatar, during which the Maserati Master Pilota drivers demonstrated the performance of the Maserati model range, including the Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte and GranTurismo.
Commenting on the success of the driving sessions, Maserati Qatar general manager Charly Dagher said: “We look forward to offering our clients a first-hand experience of the legend that is Maserati through our exclusive drive events every year.”
The Maserati Master Pilota drives were carried out over a two-day period, inviting Maserati enthusiasts across the country to experience the power of Maserati.
The GranTurismo Sport features a powerful, naturally-aspirated V8 engine, hand-assembled by Ferrari, giving the GranTurismo range its characteristic eager throttle response and free-revving characteristics. Its 4.7-litres V8 engine outputs 460hp.
The Maserati Ghibli is a four-door sports executive sedan and the marque’s first E-segment model. The S variant features a new-generation twin turbo-charged 3.0-litre V6 engine with a power output of 410hp, which races to 100kph in 5.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 285kph.
Maserati’s Quattroporte range celebrates the concept of luxury sports sedan. Powered by a high performance engine, the Quattroporte GTS boasts of a 3.8-litre V8, while the Quattroporte features the 3.0-litre V6 – both of which are all-new, twin turbo-charged, developed by Maserati Powertrain in partnership with Ferrari.
