Commercial Bank’s service to the community has been recognised by an excellence award at the 2015 Qatar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference, hosted by Qatar University (QU).
Commercial Bank CEO Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi received the award from QU president Dr Hassan Rashid al-Derham.
The event also marked the release of the 2015 Qatar National CSR Report (Leaders’ Vision), compiled and published by QU, which honoured individuals whose leadership and example have made the most telling contribution in the field of CSR.
On sponsoring the 2015 Qatar National Report for Corporate Social Responsibility, al-Raisi stated that CSR is integral to its business strategy.
“As Qatar’s first private bank, we have a longstanding commitment to acting as a trusted and ethical partner with the Qatari community and to playing a role in the development of Qatar’s human, social and sustainable economic wealth,” he added.
