The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (Goic) has decided to slash the subscription price of its coveted ‘IMI Plus Portal’, making it accessible for a large number of interested parties, notably industrial investors, businessmen, experts, researchers and journalists.
The new and reduced subscription bundles respond to different needs, from a three-month to one-year subscription, a spokesman of Goic said.
“The new price bundle allows users to access key up-to-date information. In fact, Goic deployed huge efforts to establish and develop a comprehensive set of databases to reflect the socio-economic status in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council),” Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Ageel, Goic secretary-general said.
The IMI Plus is the first of its kind in the region to include four databases as Gulf industries, foreign trade, socio-economic indicators and investment opportunities in the region. It also features several search and query options, in addition to the capacity to print reports.
The IMI Plus products, such as reports and control panels, allow users to carry out feasibility studies using accurate and updated information, identify promising investment opportunities in member states, determine the market size for a specific product and identify commercial exchange between GCC members and other countries all over the globe or according to country group classification, determine imports and exports, net imports, design capacities and the market size for goods in accordance with customs tariffs.
The portal also allows users to identify names of factories, the size of their investments and their labour force according to the industrial activities in each country. It also includes information on distribution of firms within the country according to industrial cities and industrial activities, and data regarding design capacities of every product and every industrial activity within the country.
