Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and his accompanying delegation yesterday visited the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA).
The Nigerian president toured the museum and viewed the exhibits.
During the tour, President Buhari was briefed on the history of the MIA and its role in disseminating science, culture and encouraging creativity and communication with cultures and arts of the world.
Following the tour, the Nigerian president signed the honorary record of the MIA.  
During the tour, the Nigerian president was escorted by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and the ambassador of Qatar to Nigeria Abdulaziz bin Mubarak al-Muhannadi.  
Later yesterday, President Buhari left Doha after an official visit to Qatar. Nigeria’s president and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE al-Sada.
