Queried on the impact of the economic slowdown in the market for luxury accessories, the company official said it was still to be felt in the Gulf markets as far as luxury and premium brands of jewels and watches were concerned. “Anyway, we are happy with the patronage from our customers.”
Every luxury watch Chaumet designs at its in-house facilities pass through several skilled hands before it hits the market. “The stones we source for making our ornaments are from the most vibrant markets and we have always succeeded in getting the best results,” he said. “In Qatar, our brand has extensive familiarity for more than 40 years and it is expected to remain so in the coming years as well.”
