Some 37 academics, researchers, experts and practitioners from GCC countries will be speaking at a symposium titled “Education in the GCC countries: Innovations and Aspirations” on February 27.
Organised by Qatar University’s College of Education (QU-CED), the forum aims to promote best practices in education in the GCC region. It also aims to help bring together educators to promote professional development, educational research, and the development of new strategies in the curricula.
Participants will share their ideas, knowledge and experiences, and seek sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the education sector in the region.
The keynote speaker, assistant professor Dr Khalifa al-Suwaidi from UAE University Department of Curriculum and Learning Methods, will present “Coming through the desert: educational contradictions.”
