Video Home & Electronic Centre has inaugurated a new exclusive showroom of Hitachi Power Tools in Barwa Village, building No 13, in the presence of top management from Video Home & Hitachi.
Video Home & Electronic Centre is the exclusive distributor of Hitachi Power Tools in Qatar.
Hitachi Power Tools began its journey with Video Home over a decade ago when it appointed the latter as its authorised distributor. “With the number of projects and booming construction work on the rise in recent years, it was felt that a dedicated showroom with the complete range of Hitachi Power Tools was imperative - where project managers and engineers could come for professional advice on the right tools,” said C V Rappai, CEO and director, Video Home & Electronic Centre.
Speaking at the launch, Kazuhiro Murakami, general manager of Hitachi Gulf, said: “Hitachi has manufacturing plants in Japan, Malaysia and China, and all tools come with a warranty of one year on all mechanical parts. We believe in serving the customer by giving ‘on-time service solutions’ and, if required, even provide standby units to save the time and cost of our valued customers.”
Video Home & Electronic Centre has a full-fledged service centre on Street 36, Industrial Area, with technically trained staff from Hitachi. The engineering team is capable of providing pre-sales demonstrations for facilitating project approvals and after-sales service.
The Hitachi Power Tools range is available for various applications.
In terms of drilling solutions, the range includes 10mm to 18mm impact drilling as well as 20mm to 50mm rotary hammers.
For grinding and cutting metals, tiles, concrete etc, the Hitachi grinders range starts from 100mm, going up to 230mm. The range also has the portable hand grinders and tiles cutters. There are also options for cutting bigger-diameter metals and for wood and aluminium works.
