Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, has announced that Al Jazeera Media Networks has launched a new HD bouquet on the Es’hail-1 satellite located at 25.50 East hotspot covering the Mena region.
Al Jazeera is Qatar’s leading news and entertainment channel with a wide variety of programming content and a worldwide following. An anchor customer with Es’hailSat, Al Jazeera was the first channel to start broadcasting on Es’hail-1 when it went into commercial service with transmissions on Qatar National Day on December 18, 2013.
The new Al Jazeera bouquet is being broadcast in high definition, with content from Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English currently available and Al Jazeera Mubasher and Al Jazeera Documentary Channel coming soon. The new HD bouquet further adds to the attractive line up of TV content currently broadcasting via Es’hail-1. Tune in to Es’hail-1 at 25.50E with the following details, 11,045 MHz, H Pol, SR 27,500 and FEC 2/3, to enjoy high quality Arabic and English content from leading Qatari network Al Jazeera.
