Msheireb Properties, a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation, hosted several activities for its employees and their families to mark the National Sport Day (NSD).
Attendees took part in a number of interactive and fun sporting events including football, badminton, table tennis, stepping foot, yoga, basketball and volleyball held at Msheireb Downtown Doha’s Heritage Quarter.
The company also organised sport competitions for construction workers and their families with activities covering cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi and tug of war. Participants received vouchers and trophies as prizes.
Msheireb Properties transported volunteers, workers and colleagues to the various events held at dedicated facilities built on site.
In line with the NSD celebration, Msheireb Properties launched “The Energy Rush” which seeks to unleash the full potential and get the very best out of its employees. It aims to create a smooth dialogue between work and home environment for the staff to discuss the project with their families.
“We are a high-performing organisation and we have high-performing people,” said Maryam al-Mansoori, Msheireb Properties’ chief officer - Corporate Planning and Support.
“We need our workforce to be engaged, satisfied, happy and healthy. We studied all the basic needs of each employee and considered how this could be improved in doing The Energy Rush Project beyond all the standard requirements of adequate training, equipment upgrades and benefits,” she explained.
The official believes that after the project, their “employees will deliver to their full potential if given the opportunity and right conditions to do so.”
Msheireb Properties is Qatar’s leading developer of sustainable and innovative projects.
