Ooredoo has announced that its Mozaic TV Clubs, which enable customers to watch movies and programmes on demand, has seen an “unprecedented take-up in the past few months, recording the highest-ever growth in the history of the service”.
Ooredoo’s Mozaic On Demand Clubs offer a range of programming, including films, children’s television, soap operas, comedies and dramas, on demand and on the go, via users’ televisions, phones and tablets through the Mozaic GO app.
The most popular packages include the Mozaic Club, which offers content such as ABC studios, Disney, on-demand movies, TV series and more, the company has said in a statement. In addition, Ooredoo has seen strong growth for its StarzPlay package, which provides multi-screen, video-on-demand services, including premium Hollywood TV series, movies and kids’ content on the same day of broadcast as the US. “The rise of Mozaic Clubs for Next Generation Mozaic TV customers marks another step towards Ooredoo’s vision for delivering an all-digital entertainment portfolio, as more and more people look to watch their favourite shows whenever and wherever they are,” the statement noted. Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi, COO of Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Our customers want 24/7 access to news, shows and movies, which is why we launched the Mozaic TV Clubs.” This week, Ooredoo has announced a special “We love Matt Damon” week to celebrate the release of The Martian, which is now available on Mozaic’s Movies on Demand.
