Local Arabic daily Al-Watan reported on Sunday that the court sentenced one of them to 15 years in jail for unpremeditated murder and carrying a sharp weapon. The other six accomplices were sentenced to five years in jail for robbery. Besides, the court ordered that all the convicts shall be deported upon serving their jail term. Further, the person convicted of murder was ordered by the court to pay a sum of QR200,000 as blood money to the victim's legal inheritors.

Consequently, they managed to break into the head office of that company and carry away the whole safe to their accommodation, which was nearby. However, when they opened it, the sum they found only QR1,000, in addition to some documents, to their disappointment. So immediately, they decided to go back to the site of their crime and broke into a neighbouring office to try their luck.
As they approached the place, they saw a person watching them from his car. They thought that the man was watching them and would report the matter to the police. They went to him and started a fight, during which one of them stabbed him with a knife, leaving him lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Eventually, they left the man dead and ran away to their accommodation.
In the morning, a police patrol found the body and investigations led to the convicts.
