Grace retains his Qatar Masters title

South Africa’s Branden Grace receives the Mother of Pearl trophy from Qatar Golf Association president Hassan al-Naimi and Commercial Bank of Qatar CEO Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi after winning the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters title by two shots at the Doha Golf Club yesterday. With this victory, Grace became the first player in the 19-year history of the event to win back-to-back titles in Qatar. Grace said he would return to Doha next year to try and win a hat-trick of titles. “What a great week, it’s great to defend the title,” he said.  “I can’t wait to come back next year and give it a run for the third time.” PICTURE: Jayaram
