Just hours ahead of a concert at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, multi-skilled musician Jazzie B broke new ground in his career when he met golf’s famous Trick Shot Boys.
The founder of Soul II Soul, Jazzie B was at Doha Golf Club ahead of his group’s evening performance with co-headliner Arrested Development.
Braving the unusually cold winds in Doha, the British DJ and music producer took centre stage as he found out what makes Geoff Swain and Kevin Carpenter one of golf’s most entertaining double acts.
“That was fun. These guys are very talented,” said the musician, who’s no stranger to the sport. “It was Tiger Woods who inspired me to swing the clubs. Tiger’s my inspiration when it comes to golf.”
Soul II Soul have won two Grammys and sold over 10 million albums, boosted by hits including Back To Life and Keep On Movin’.
